RANGO - This animated comedy-adventure follows the comical, transformative journey of Rango, a sheltered chameleon living as an ordinary family pet, while facing a major identity crisis. When Rango accidentally winds up in the gritty, gun-slinging town of Dirt, the less-than-courageous lizard suddenly finds he stands out. Welcomed as the last hope the town has been waiting for, new Sheriff Rango is forced to play his new role to the hilt…until, in a blaze of action-packed situations and encounters with outrageous characters, Rango starts to become the hero he once only pretended to be.

Museums of Port Isabel Celebrates Day of the Dead & Halloween!

The Museums of Port Isabel will offer a full weekend of event during Halloween! From “Rango” at the lighthouse, live music, vendors of all kinds, great food, hands on activities, theater and more! All open to the public, no admission charge.

Come Visit Our Ghosts! Walking Tours Saturdays 8pm Through October

Every Saturday night in October, at 8 p.m., meet us in front of the Champion Building at 317 E. Railroad Ave. in Port Isabel. The walking tour departs and takes in the Lighthouse, Southwind Inn, Alta Vista Apartments, the City of Port Isabel Cemetery, the Port Isabel Firehouse and more.

Tickets ($10) for the one hour walking tours are on sale at the Museums of Port Isabel, the Chamber of Commerce and the Port Isabel City Hall.
